Covering a diverse range of styles including songs by Louis Jordan from the 40's swing era. Classics such as "Saturday Night Fish Fry", "Knock Me A Kiss" and "Is you Is (or is you ain't my baby)". To the earthier sound of Chicago bluesmen Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Freddie King. A soulful tribute to Ray Charles with heartfelt renditions of "Hallelujah! I Love Her So" and "I Believe To My Soul". Songs by Big Joe Turner, "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and Chuck Berry, "Sweet Little Sixteen", are given a new lease of life. More contemporary acts like "Little Charlie and the Nightcats" and "Rod Piazza and the Flyers" are also covered in the mix. Quirky and often cheeky original compositions set the band apart from others. The Rhythm Devils are dedicated to giving pleasure to existing lovers of the genre and bringing "the devils music" to the mainstream audience. The Rhythm Devils are: Scott Nightingale: vocals, guitar, saxophone Mark "Bones" Hickey: harmonica, vocals Geoff Street: bass Justin Harris: drums All members have had many years experience in performing and have been in bands including "Scott Nightingale and the Sensationals", "Blues Express", "The Shakers" and "12 Bars Later", to name a few. The Rhythm Devils provide their own P.A and lighting system along with recorded music to retain the atmosphere during set breaks.
